Set Maximum File Upload Limit

Hi,
is anyone aware of a way to set the maximum file upload limit by a user
(Groove Enterprise Services)?
Issue we had was that someone accidentally added 500MB to a workspace, let
it copy up 200MB then cancelled it. Part of this then tried to sync to all
users for that workspace until it had all updated again.
Wondering if, as admin, we can set either max file size or max single
addition to be 50MB or similar.
thanks.

I don't believe there is any way to do this on the server side. For folders
in the Files tool, SharePoint Files tool, and File Sharing workspaces, you
can set a download limit, but it needs to be done within each tool on each
client. The download limit will not prevent members from adding files larger
than the limit, but it keeps the full file from being transmitted to members
with the limit set.

Frances' anwser is right but i would like to add one point.

Download limit configuration is a personnal setting.
You can not change this setting for other workspace members. The only mean
to have this setting propagated to each workspace member is to set the value
when you create the workspace and before to invite someone to join.
