Set Outlook 2007 as default for email

I loaded Outlook 2007 but I still get my email in my old version of Outlook
Express. How can I change it so my email goes to Outlook 2007?

Remove the email acct from outlook express? Set it to not download mail
automatically? Set Outlook as the default (in IE's tools, internet options).
