Set permanant custom page size in Word and make it a drop option

HI can any one help me with the settings required to add a cusom page size in
word so it is permanantly available as a drop down option in the page set up
function?

I have been setting a customer size slightly larger than A4 but it
continually resets to A4 when PDF'd this is a problem when printing over
sized A4

Some printer drivers allow you to define custom paper sizes; when these are
defined in the printer driver (Properties), then Word will offer them. In
this case, the driver is the Adobe (or other) PDF printer.

Your answer was helpful. I was wondering how to change the standard page in
Adobe form letter to A4 and I understand how to write a PDF in oversized A4
but this does not enable me to embed an option in Word to select an oversized
A4 in the page set up tab.
A collegue of mine has this as an option but my machine does not offer it,
we run the same software so it must be possible.
Any further help would be gratefully received.

Do you have the Adobe printer selected as the current active printer when
you attempt this?
