Set rules for automatically accepting changes - doesn't work

Greetings:

Does anyone know what has to be done to get a rule for
automatically accepting changes to actually work?

I am testing this feature prior to our full
implementation, it does not seem to function. I have a
rule set, and when the resource submits a task change, I
still have to manually approve her time entry or task
change/

Ideas, something I am missing or need to check?

Go to the Updates page in PWA and click the Apply Rules tab and then click
the Run Rules Now button. This is as close as you can get to automating the
updates process. You must manually click that button, as there is no way to
get the system to automatically process task updates, as I think you have
wrongly assumed. Hope this helps.

When I do that, or try to, the Run Rules Now button is
grayed out. I find that of interest :)
