set up office xp

When I try to re-install Office XP Pro I get an error
1304 which says, Error writing to file
C:\programfiles\microsoftoffice\office10\msomse.dll. I
then must cancel and abort the install or repair.

I also am getting the windows office xp installer program
starting up every time I open a windows program.
