setting a background template for a form

I want to have a background that I scan in so that I can
enter information on top and then print out to a form
without the background printing. Anybody know how I can
accomplish this task.

Scan it in. In your scanning program, trim a half-inch off each edge. Save
it in an image format that Word will accept. Then create a new document with
half-inch margins. View the header & footer and import the image into your
header. Format the picture to be behind text and close your header. Set your
print options to not print drawing objects. Save the document.

You may want to look into Word's online forms function. Then take a look at
the MVP FAQ site and look for a page on filling in blanks. You may be best
off looking at Dian
Chapman's series of articles.
