First time ever to do this~ so perhaps no wonder it's not working yet!
and right now being the weekend - don't really expect a response from
Host Support before next week!
so hopefully someone can shed some light on this -
I'v gone in via the cPanel.. (carolhost) ... and set up - think I'v
set up secure certificate (self made - not a bought one) uploaded it
etc etc and all appears to have gone ok - but what now?
do I have to do anything to the particular web page to make it come up
under https.... I'v tried about all I can think of ~ but it wont show
up if I key in https.... but it does if I use the normal http -in
https it's as though the page doesnt exist, also.. when I set the
link to the page in another page on the site - even though I put https
and the full address to it - it doesnt appear to be locking in there-
cos the link STILL - even on mouseover and view the link at the bottom
of the explorer window - it's still showing http:
what AM I doing wrong? or are there other things like Permissions that
need to be changed?
or the page(s) that I want secure - should they be uploaded into a
different directory?
