setting cell width in data sheet and subreport width

Hi,

1.How do I change the cell width in a data sheet ?
I tried the width properties of my text boxes but that does'nt work.(because
datasheet i think). The user right now can drag the column width if they want
but I want to do it automatically at design or run time.

2.I have a subform that contains a datasheet with many columns. When
I scroll to the right there is a lot of empty space far beyond the last
column.
How do I set the subform to only be able to scroll over to the last column
and hence not see a nearly empty subform with only one column in it?
