Setting default outline levels in a view

Hello - I have defined a custom view (in project 2007) which displays
selected tasks using a custom text field and a filter - i.e. if field = Y,
then display task (using an idea from another thread).

However the tasks I wish to display are at all levels in the outline
hierarchy (2,3 & 4).

Most users will generally navigate from the standard gantt view to this
custom view - however often users will have the outline set to display to
level 2 only.

Unfortunately when switching to the custom view this outline setting is
retained such that levels 3+ are not displayed (even where custom field = Y,
which should be displayed according to the filter settings) - i.e. outline
settings take precedence over filter settings?

Is there any way to have a setting to display all outline levels when a
particular view is selected?

Many Thanks,
John.
