Setting email notifications for all enterprise resources

I want all our users to have the same email notifications and reminders and
not be able to change them.

It seems that to do that, I need to give every user permissions to this
feature, log in as each one, set the notifications I want, and deny every
user this feature.

There must be an easier way. Any one out there know how?

The e-mail notifications of which you speak are known as "Personal
Notifications", which means that each person sets his/her own notifications.
Thus, there is no way to set this globally as the PWA administrator. On the
other hand, managers can specify how they want their resources reminded of
overdue or upcoming events by clicking the "Set e-mail reminders for my
resources" link in the sidepane of the Home page.

Notice that there is a difference between Notifications and Reminders.
Notifications deal with things like: new task assignments, new status
report requests, etc. Reminders deal with things like overdue or upcoming
tasks.

If you can live with the default settings on each person's "Set e-mail
notifications and reminders" page, you can totally disable everyone's
ability to specify their Personal Notifications by doing the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator privileges
2. Click the "Manage organization" link
3. Deselect the Personal Notifications option in the General section
4. Click the Save Changes button

That's just it. I was hoping to disable all notifications and reminders
period.

Our direction has been "pull" not "push" of this info. We want our users to
be in the habit of going to their PWA home page for all project work and not
wait for an email notice.

I guess we'll have to live with it.
