Setting graphical indicators on project server2007

I wish to set up indicators on my project center, I am unsure about the
following set up an dalso need a formula (sorry I am not a developer)

In Edit Custom Field,
- I create new field 'Project schedule',
- entity: project,
- type: flag
- Custom attributes: formula
-and need a formula like: on Schedule, Late
- Display:graphical indicators , Criteria: project Summary
*Equals on Schedule , green dot
*Equals Late , red dot
