I am trying to set up a standerd group or bulk email to my product dealers,

a different program, Microsoft Access. The webpage can be confusing and may
have misled you; scroll down the list of subjects and find one for Outlook.
It may in fact be appropriate to set up an Access database of dealers so that
you can use VBA code to generate mailings to flexible groups, but that
shouldn't be necessary for this single task.
