Setting Labels for Appointments

I have a vba procedure that creates appointments in outlook from data in a
spreadsheet.

I would like the code to set the label (so they will apear in distinct
colours) for these appointments. I have seen code for getting the label but I
can't work out how to set the label. Can this be done?
