Setting Language and Date format

I cannot get the language to defualt to anything other
than English (US). Everytime I open an existing ppt
slideshow all the text boxes and diagrams and pictures
have to be indidually changed to set the language.

The date format sticks on the US format and I cannot get
it into dd/mm/yy?

PPT picks up the default language and date settings from Windows Control Panel in Regional Settings. See if changing things there helps.

You might have to change your keyboard language there, too.
