Setting of Margins

By default Microsoft Word sets the left and right margins to 3.17
centimeters (1.25 inches). How can I set the default to 2.54
centimeters (1 inch)? Using Office 2003.

Go to File, Page Setup, change the margins and then press the DEFAULT button
at the bottom of the dialog.
