Setting Outlook 2000 as the default e-mail reader

I intend to use Outlook 2000 rather than Outlook Express as my e-mail reader.
Can I set it such that e-mail messages are directed only to Outlook and not
to Express?

Simply remove the mail accounts from OE so it can't retrieve messages.
