Greetings,

One of our employees built a database for our company and was recentl
terminated for bad job conduct and did something to the compan
database. The program apparently was set to stop after he left th
company. Where do I find the location to repair what he did to make th
program work again? I don't know at this point if any data was lost.

Thanks for any hel

Do you still have the MDB file? How big is the application? What version of
Access was used?

He could have put it anywhere, but I'd *start* looking in the AutoExec
macro.

Also, I'd call the police!

If you don't know where or how to start looking you probably shouldn't
be trying to fix it yourself. If the data in your application isn't
super confidential then you can decode my email, attach your
application in a Zip file (a naked .MDB would be deleted by my server)
to an email. Include your contact information so we can talk as
necessary.

Best regards,

I found out the database was converted to an MBE in version 2003 so
it's possible I may never be able to undo what was done.
