Setting SMTP Server in 2003

Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me how I set the SMTP server in Project
2003 Server? I've read how to do it using 2002 but it
seems to have changed.

Hi Giles,

Just to clarify... MS Project Server 2003 does not actually come with an
SMTP server, so you need to point to an existing server (or configure one
yourself). Here are the steps to configure Project Server 2003 to work with
SMTP:

1) Login to PWA as an administrator.
2) Go to the "Admin" tab.
3) On the left-hand menu bar, click on the following links: "Customize
Project Web Access" -> "Notifications and Reminders".
4) Enter the "SMTP Mail Server", "Port Number" (25 is the default) and "From
Address". The Company e-mail address and default e-mail message are
optional.
