Setting Tasks Default for Today

I'd like to know if there is a way to set the New Task
window to automatically default the start and due dates
to whatever date my calendar is on. Right now I avoid
using the tasks because it's so tedious to have to figure
out what the date is and then type it in for each new
task.

Any ideas?
