Setting the default inbox

How can I change the default inbox?

I would like it to be my "Inbox" folder on an IMAP
account rather than the standard "Inbox" in Personal
Folders.

I'm trying to get the New Message Alert to appear for
other folders besides the Personal Folders' Inbox.
