Setting up a Rule in Outlook Express

S

scott

I want to set up a rule. For instance, when I receive a message containg "A"
in the subject, THEN send message. THe message I want to send is a .eml
file, which is an email. I find that I am able send the .eml file only if I
have saved it to a folder outside of Outlook, for instance in My Docs. I can
find a way to send a .eml file located in one of my Outlook folders such as
Draft. Can anyone help me do this? It is important that the .eml is sent as
an email and not as an attachment to an email.
Thanks!

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Outlook 2000 rules are pretty primitive. You can try using a third party
program like SpamBayes from sourceforge.net to help with the rules but I
don't know that it will run with Outlook 2000.
