Setting up a Second Project Database on Same Server to house Archived Projects

I am attempting to setup a second projectserver database on the same
server as my production server and a cooresponding web site. I am
looking for documentation/information on how to accomplish this for
Project 2002. The second database will be used to house archived
projects. Based on some other posts, I believe there may have been
some documentation around this for Project 2000, but I do not have
access to the 2000 cd. Also, I am not sure how helpful it would be
for Project 2002.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks Gary. The link was helpful. I was able to create my second
database and new web site. Additionally, I will check out your book.
I have been looking for a good MS Project book.

Thanks again.

Can someone give details on how to create this second
instance? The microsoft's instructions aren't helping
me. There must be more to it.

Where are you running into problems? The KB article pretty much covers all
that needs to be done.

It is pretty straight forward.

1. Create a new database for the new instance
2. a. Restore an existing Project Server database to the new database
b. Run the create database scripts on the Project Server 2002 CD.
SETUPDB is the command file.
3. Use Editsite to setup the new instance. Use the current instance as a
basis.
