Setting Up A Shared Notebook On A Web Server

I'm trying to set up a shared notebook on a web server, so students in a
class can use the same notebook and see the information they enter update.
I've found information on creating the "shared" notebook, and I've uploaded
it to my server and given it the correct permissions. But I'm having trouble
getting OneNote to connect.

Is there any detailed information or step-by-step instructions available on
how to do this?

Could you elaborate? Are you getting an error message? If so, what does
it say? If not, what do you get? What web server are you running
(SharePoint/IIS/Apache/something else)? Are you able to use other Office
apps to edit files on the same server? What version of OneNote are you
using (and do you have the servicepacks?)? What version of Windows are
you using? Anything else that's particularly unique/unusual about your
setup?
