Setting Up Alerts

Hi,

I have gone through my books and can't get a clear idea HOW to do the
following. Any help would be appreciated.

I want to set up email notification so every time a new project is
published / new task created, that person is assigned to it is
informed. I have set up all the config. Data etc. and it works for me,
but that was because I selected the options in ALERT ME from my home
page to email me for the above.

Is there a way as ADMIN I can set the rule for everyone who exists in
EPM? I am trying to get some very forgetful people to remember to use
PWA and constant emailing (apart from some forceful words) is one of
the ways I can get them to do it.

Wegz:

By default, the system sends an email to each resource when they receive a
new assignment. Is this not working in your system? What behaviors are you
seeing?
