Setting up an SQL Server ODBC connection

I am having trouble setting up a data connection to a SQL Server ODBC data
source in InfoPath. When I click on finish, InfoPath errors out and restarts.

Has anybody run into this before?

Is your problem something similar like the one at the link below

Try giving proper permissions to the tables and Database

After troubleshooting my issue a little further, I have found that the
problem is with my PC. I was able to add an ODBC DSN data connection from
another developers PC. I must have some conflicting software loaded.
