Setting up deposit account

I have a business where I hold deposits for customers. I need a program that would give me a statement of how much is in the account, to whom it belongs, and all of the activity I've entered- such as subtractions from the customers' deposits- at the end of a period (probably a month). Any suggestions?

Can you say "Quicken"? Otherwise, put it all in a tble
and use a pivot table.
