Setting up email account

I am attempting to set up my yahoo dsl account with
microsoft outlook. I have entered all of the appropriate
info and when I test it, the message "send test e-mail
message: unable to send test message. Please verify the
email address field." The email address is correct. I've
called yahoo dsl and I am unable to get the situation
resolved. Help!!

I am not a whiz at thie stuff, but as many times I have
had to fix mine or my husband's, I've found most of the
time the problem resides in one of the follwing:
1) incoming mail server being correct
2) your outgoing mail server being correct (smtp...)
3) if each of the above's logon info is correct, there
will be one for the incoming mail server on the same
page, but the logon info for the outgoing will be in
where it says "more settings", then under the
tab "outgoing server."
All of these things are found under:
"Tools" then "Email Accounts" then "view or change"
then select(highlight) account, then "change".
