setting up outlook

I've installed Office 2003 student but can't get Outlook's mailing to work.
Everytime I try to send an mail or do anything I get an error message saying
"Object missing". I tried reinstalling it but nothing's changed. I think I
didn't do something right on the original installation but can'r find a way
to fix the problem.

How can I get it to be my default emailer and to work?

Have you called your ISP and talked to their tech support to make sure all
of the settings are correct?
