Setting up SMTP to work with MS Project Server

Does anyone know how u set up your SMTP sever to get e-
mail working. I have my mail server on a different
machine then Project. Do u guys know the work around for
this. If u do Could u let me know.

All I did was enter the gw.rev.state.ga.us portion of my
email address and then use Port 25 (default setting). I
then had the email admin set up a box with myself having
proxy, i.e. (e-mail address removed) to send
out all the notifications. Hope this helps.
