I want to set up a tool bar in which I can click on
quickly to launch all MS apps on my pc. In other words,
I want to set up a MS Office toolbar on my screen so that
I can go to it and click on it to launch excel, word,
etc. get it?

1) Create a folder in root C:\ (or whatever your main drive is)

2) Name it 'Office' or whatever

3) Open another instance of c: and browse to the following folder C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11

4) Inside that folder you will see icons to the various Office
applications - create shortcuts to the various applications inside the
folder you created in the root of your main directory.

5) Right click a clear area of the main Taskbar and select Toolbars > New
Toolbar.

6) Navigate to the folder you created on C and click OK.

You now have your own OSB (after a fashion). It may not be pretty, but it
works.

Happy & prosperous New Year to you as well
Going to be busy here getting the greenhouses stocked and ready for spring, and teaching spring sem courses at the local jr college

Ah horticulture...you a horticultural lecturer, too? We had a bumper crop of
tomatoes last year - very small, very sweet cherries, 'Tiger Eye' was the
variety, I believe - orange striped with yellow. Trouble is in our short
summers (UK) we don't get enough sun for them to ripen quick enough!

Yes, horticulture lecturer. Get the most ignorant questions sometimes, sort of like the news group. Would like to answer like you do sometimes, but have to show tolerance in the class room. We hold classes in the computer lab so research is somewhat easy. Helps to keep the stupid questions to a liveable minimum.
Yes, tomatoes love the sun, which we have plenty of here {Texas}, but lack of rain has been a major problem the last few years. Very bad drought here. If you have any extra, we could use an import of a few inches.

OK - I'll swap you - you can have my rain, in exchange for some of your
sun - whilst the toms are good croppers, I don't particularly like waiting
until late September!

I know, it's the Celt in me I think - none of us suffer fools gladly.
