Setting up Workgroup

When I try to map Access from a computer on our workgroup I get a message
about needing to download Jet ? [message at work so don't have exact
wording].
It was working ok until I changed the security levels to low because of
another problem.
Help.

Try setting a shortcut that points to the correct system.mdw workgroup
security file:

For example (all in one line).
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSAccess.exe" /wrkgrp
"C:\Database\MySecure.mdw" "C:\Database\MyFrontend.mdb"

I guess I never set up workgroup properly. My computer is the main computer
for Access. Pier to pier setup. I am in the process of updating and
installing new Access programs on the other computers (all o/s WinXP)and
mapping to my computer via of the network/workgroup.
Is this wrong?
If so, please tell me where I can find out the steps to setup workgroup.
2. Do I need to download Jet4.0 SP 8 for Win XP on the computer that won't
allow access to my computer's Access?
If I sound confused I am.
Thanks for your much needed help.

I found the file you suggested. However, I lucked out and was able to map
successfully. Thanks for your reply. I shall save it for I have 5 more
computers to map. All the security has made things more complex.
