Setting visible property to text box won't save

I have set the visible property on a text box to No, saved it in design
view, then back into form view and the said text box is still visible.
I go back into design view and the visible property is set to Yes. I
then change it back to No again, exit the form after saving, then re
open the form, and the text box is still visible, aaaargh!

How can I make access 2007 really save it to how I want.

Access 2007 and some earlier versions require that you tab out of the
property textbox into another to make it accept the change.
