I have been discussing various configuration options and techniques.
One thing that I have been taught and try to use is that I should not
have the admin role as part of my categories and groups. We use
Windows Authentication and I have been assigned to all categories and
groups. I feel that I should be assigned to the roles that are
appropriate to me and when I want to perform admin functions, I click
on "Log Out" and then log in using the admin login name and password.
I think this is important to troubleshooting issues.
I am interested in hearing the opinions of others on this topic.
