Setup can't find micro. office 07 when i try to install project ?

I have installed and registered Microsoft office 2007.

When i try to load on project 2007 i get a message saying cannot find a
version of microsoft office on my computer. I have tried to load it with the
Office cd and along with the browse option no luck??? what to do know?

Try the simple things first. Reboot your machine, open each new MS
Application once. Make sure you have activated the MS Office applications.

MS Office Project 2007 should not require any version of MS Office.
However, there may be common dll files that have not yet properly registered.
