The Error Message says " Set up Failed"
I am Using Office 2003 Professional
Using Windows XP Pro with All Updates and Service Packs.
I Originally Used the Office update Site to Update Office - Used to
Work Perfectly -
Then I used the site at some point later and I got error that says "
Installation Unsucessfull" for the Update of an Outlook 2003 Junk
Filter.
I then downloaded the full file and tried the update and got same
message. I then tried to fix office with detect and repair option and
got the message that Set up Failed.

So is Office not running properly, outside this update?

All of The Office Programs Are Working ( Excel, Word , Outlook, etc.) But I Cannot Do any updates. Maybe it is an operating system glitch. It would be helpful that when something fails that it tells you why it failed.

OK - now I understand better. Have you tried downloading the updates (i.e.,
service pack) as saved files & then installing them?

If that works OK, I recommend you go to microsoft.public.windowsupdate for
help to see if they can offer any advice as this is part of the autoupdate.
