I have tried to install the Trial Version of BCM 2007 several times and each
time it ends with an error that it Failed to Install, see Log File (if it
helps, I can post the log file). I have searched throughout the forum but
cannot find a solution to this.
I successfully installed the Trial Version of Office without a problem and
am able to open Outlook, but there is no option for BCM in the Add Ins nor is
BCM listed in the Program List. I did notice while watching one of my install
attempts in Windows Explorer that the BCM directory and files start to be
created, but when the install fails, those files vanish.
I am at a loss as to what to do next. I have already uninstalled everything
and then did a reinstall, but that did not work. I have seen some mention of
a .NET problem, but do not want to go crazy removing things unless I know for
sure that I should.
I am considering migrating to BCM from ACT! (I'm sure that is another issue
in the waiting!), but would first like to see if I like the feel of BCM so
any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I am running WIN XP
