Setup of Office email

I have an employee on a wireless laptop that is unable to access the internet.
We tried hooking up thru our mail server and then changed the access to dial
up as his home is hooked thru the phone via Broadband????
Sounds a bit messy- - - anyhow, the latest error was WAN MINI 678 on the test.
Anyone know what this is?
