Setup on XP Error 1305

Michelle

I'm trying to install Office 2000 onto XP and there is an
error message 1305 which doesn't let me pass. It asks to
verify a file exists and that I have access to it.
I've checked the file and it is present on my c:drive but
it is not attached to an application (the file ends .olb)
I have no idea how to correct it. I've searched online
and the advice is to change the cache memory but there
were no instructions for XP.
Can anybody help???
