Setup Woes--"Logged in as the same user you first ran setup on"?

Hi,

I was just trying to install Publisher 2000 on my laptop
(Windows ME is the OS). The last time I tried to install
this program, the installation process was halted due to
some other issues with my computer which have since then
been resolved. My primary concern is with the message
that I received after trying to continue the setup:

"Microsoft Publisher 2000 setup requires that you
complete setup while logged in as the same user you
first ran setup on".

After displaying this message setup terminates. What can
I do to rectify this situation?
