Setup

Had a hard drive dying. Purchased new computer and 2nd
hard drive. Used HD manufacturers CD to copy everything
from old HD to new (2nd) HD. New system OS is XP. When
try to run Word, Excel, etc receive following message:
"This application must be installed to run. Please run
setup from the location where you originally installed
the application."
Lost Office CD so can't reinstall. Is there any way to
get Office running from the 2nd HD where I believe it
should already be installed?

Laura,

Here is a way to get a replacement CD of Office.

To obtain a replacement CD-ROM or manual, contact Microsoft Supplemental and
Replacement Parts at (800) 360-7561; Microsoft may ask you to fax a copy of
the store receipt.

If you received Office preinstalled or distributed by an OEM, you must
contact the OEM for a replacement.

If you acquired Office through the Volume Licensing program (including an
Open License or a Select License), contact the Microsoft Worldwide
Fulfillment Office at (800) 248-0655. Learn more about how to replace lost,
broken, or missing Microsoft software or hardware
