Shape colour set according to text value

I have a series of autoshapes which contain values from various cells.
I want to set the background colour of the autoshape based on the valu
within it.
e.g. If the cell from which the value is retrieved contains "R", th
autoshape would be coloured red.
Any ideas

If you have a look at the graphics macro on my download page, you will
get an idea of how to manipulate the colours of autoshapes.
