Shape connectors

This seemed like a great solution to ever changeing
layouts. I have the drawing canvas on. My auto shapes are
in and text boxes in place. I select the connector line I
want to use the blue connector markers highlight. As I
approach a marker and select it my drawing flashes,
scales and flips to normal view. My darwing canvas is
gone. If I place the connector away from a blue
connector, I can attach it later. It moves and performs
as expected.
