shape used on animated slides

We put a cirlce with an A on all the slides in the lower right corner that
have animation. I thought it would be best to add a master slide to the
design template for use when there is animation, but that idea was shot down.
Currently, I copy and paste from an existing animated slide so it ends up in
the correct position. If there's a better way for me to accomplish this, I'd
appreciate any insight.

Hi Gina,

I just tested it and the animated shape on the Master works. When you say
the idea "got shot down", do you mean someone was not happy and you need an
alternative?

You could copy the shape and simply paste it on each slide. it should lodge
in the same spot when you paste it. Or have I missed something?
