shape w/ measurement

having a problem with getting rid of measurements of doors on some plans i
have drawn. how do i clear the measurements of a shape added to a drawing.
example: measuerment is displayed next a door in the drawingthanks ! john

select measurement and delete it
should work unless its part of the object; then either try ungroup, delete
or make another copy of the item in the stencil and modify the new object.
