Shapes don't behave properly

Hello,
I'm using Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 SP2.
I'm using the Stencil "Walls, Shell and Strucuture (US units)"
I'm building a layout of the office and want to snap in doors (35.5") and
Windows (4' 1"). When I drag them from the stencil area and put them on the
sheet, they behave fine. I can reverse door openings etc.
The problem is with dragging it into the space between to walls. I have a
35.5" opening between two walls, and when I drag it in the opening, it
automatically goes to the nearest corner. I can't use the arrow key to move
the door or window.
I've been using Visio for years. This is the first time I've seen a shape
with a "mind of it's own". It seems to snap to the nearest corner.
Thanks for helping.

I am having the same problem with Visio 2003 as described in the message
posted on 11/14/06. Doesn't anyone have a reply for this question?
