Shapes menu, Actions missing

Using Industrial Control Systems diagram and shapes. Having problems with
changing a Relay contact to show closed contact or show open contact in an
existing document. The shapes menu is missing Actions. If I create a new
diagram, I have this option. For some reason we have several existing
diagrams that this option is unavailable. We were able to do this the last
time they were updated about a year ago. Is there someway to make Actions
available on the Shapes menu. I've tried to add it, but it doesn't show up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like the shapes are using an old (or different) master that does
not have the Action section. If you do decide to add the Action sectopn
consider updating the master rather than the shape on the page.

It could be that the shape has been ungrouped, this will immediately break the shape as
the shape's menus are on the grouped part of the shape.
If you have more than one of this shape on the diagram do they all exhibit the same
behaviour? Drop a new shape of the same type on the diagram. Does it show the menu?

You could go the Visio Guy's forum at http://www.visguy.com/vgforum/ and post there and
add your drawing as an attachment so we can have a look at it. (save a version showing
just a minimal part of the drawing)
