share Global.mpt with all project 2007 standard users

is there a way to set up that all project standard users can use the same
Global.mpt? we don't want to copy the Global.mpt to each user's profile.
because if any customization was made later, we need to replace the old one.
is there a way to share the same Global.mpt and update Global.mpt automatic
after changes happened?

There is no out-of-the-box way to do this. You could write a script or
something to do this, but I would really recommend you consider the use
of Project Server.

You could put the global file on a shared drive and build a shortcut on
users desks. They could then doubleclick the shortcut and it should open
project using that as the global file.

However, this is a bad idea because users won't be able to save any
modifications that they make to the global file.

There are a number of different ways to distribute the global file, but I
think that as Stephen says, if this is part of the requirements for your
system and you expect frequent updates to the global file, you should
consider project server.
