Shared boardes

M

Morris

I have two web sites. On one site, everytime I open a new page I get the
message "add this page to the navigation structure to display a page banner
here" accross the top of the page. I can't get rid of it. I can't delete it.
Their's always somthing there. I've turned off shared boardes but a file
"top .htm" always appear in the boardes folder. I delete it and it reappears
when I click on new page. The only way I can create a new page is to make a
copy of one of my old pages and wipe everything off of it thaen recreate a
new page out of it. What a pain! This dose not happen on my other site.

Sound like you have a theme applied to your site.

Not Themes related
The site has shared borders applied as a default in some page in the site,
which means apply it to all new pages automatically
Use Format Shared Borders and select ALL pages and unselect all the shared border options

That did it. Thanks Thanks to you and all the others, the newsgroups are the
best place to solve problems.

I have the opposite problem
Everytime I make a change to the left shared border, it shows on the previe
and looks great
But as soon as I close the page and reopen it, the changes are gone
I am using a customized theme and can't seem to figure out how to get the background behind th
vertical navigation buttons to be a different color than the background in the main body of the page
Does anyone know how to do this?

Support of shared border background images and colors requires your local machine and online host to be running the FP 2002 SE

We upgraded from 2002 and now have Front Page 2003
What is FP 2002 SE? Is there a version for 2003?
