Shared border question

I have shared borders turned on with a shared top, left, and bottom border.

In the left border I want to put a Table of Contents so each page will have
links to the other sections of the site. How do I re-size the left border?
I want to make it wider than it is.

You might try using a transfarent gif set to the size you want so the border
wont collapse. Works with table cells as well.
