Shared Borders making multiple copies of page

D

Doug

I'm using FP2003, publishing via HTTP to IIS5.0 with 2002
ext. installed.

When I preview the pages they look OK after I publish
them I open with IE6 and there are no shared borders, but
there is 3 copies of the page?????

You can see this at www.vanmoorlehem.com click on the
america's link.

Any idea's? I thought I had read somewhere that this
could be cause by some sort of cache problem on the
server--- they mentioned a registry fix for this put I
can not find that anymore.

Any help would be greatly apprciated.

You host needs to install the latest version of the FP2002 extensions for
their OS.

able to find it.
Do you know the url????

Thanks, that was what I was looking for.
I will have to edit the reg. because I can not install the
Office XP sp1. As I do not have office XP on my server
(Win2000 server) the only xp related item I have is the
2002 server extensions.

I hope the reg edit work-around works...

Thanks agian

Hi Doug,

For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q299360

For NT server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q298827

For FrontPage Server Extension 2002 Update - see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q317296

For info in Service Pack 1 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q307843

Even after applying all of above, some users still experience the problem,
in which case having the host roll back to the FP2000 SE is the only fix
